Harry Redknapp's lack of enthusiasm for the FA Cup is not what one would expect from the man who guided Portsmouth to a Wembley triumph last year. His Tottenham Hotspur side go into tomorrow's third-round tie with Wigan separated from the relegation zone by goal difference after garnering a solitary point from their two festive fixtures.

"There are lots of games, too many in all honesty. They are coming thick and fast and there is not time to get your breath," said the Tottenham manager, referring not only totomorrow's match at White Hart Lane but also Tuesday's visit from Burnley for the Carling Cup semi-final first leg .
