WHEN we get a new mobile phone, our old one can often end up gathering dust in a drawer.
Statistics show that the average person has three unused mobile phones that they do not need.
But what many people do not know is that as well as being good for the environment, recycling old mobiles can also raise money for charity.
This is why at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) we are urging people in the local area to dig out their old mobiles and send them for recycling.
Phones can be recycled in all sorts of ways.
