[Presenter] A two-day meeting of governors of the country's nine northern and northeastern provinces ended today. The governors of the provinces and Afghan and foreign security officials approved a resolution at the end of the meeting.

The agreement focuses on joint defence measures, strengthening of security forces, prevention of unemployment and more attention to economic growth and implementation of reconstruction projects in consultation with the governors of the provinces.
