THOUSANDS OF TOURISTS ARRIVE IN BALI DURING YEAR-END HOLIDAYS.
KUTA, Bali, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - As many as 131,075 foreign tourists arrived at Bali's Ngurah Rai international airport by domestic and international flights since December 22 to 30, 2008.
The number is higher than last year's record of 125,000 tourists during the same period.
According to data from Christmas and New Year's service station placed in domestic flight area of Ngurah Rai airport, there were 75,651 tourists landed in the domestic terminal while the rest 57,424 tourists landed in the international terminal.
Duty manager of Ngurah Rai international airport, IGK Astana, said here Wednesday that the number of tourist arrivals to Bali during Christmas's and New Year's holiday this year would be higher than the last year's.
