Section: Business News - Bangkokians are expected to spend about Bt27 billion (US$770 million) during the upcoming New Year's holiday, down 12.9 per cent from last year, due to worries about economic problems in Thailand in 2009, according to a survey conducted by the Kasikorn Research Centre.
