KUALA LUMPUR: Prices of certain food items in some hypermarkets have gone up slightly in the last two to three weeks, said Consumer Research and Resource Centre chief executive officer Paul Selva Raj.

On the whole, however, food prices have been constant over the last nine weeks.

These findings are based on Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations' (Fomca) ongoing survey on food items in three major Klang Valley hypermarkets that started nine weeks ago.

Its results will be released in mid-month.
