CORPORATE: CRI Pumps setting up steel foundry, valves unit.
from BUSINESS LINE, December 26, 2008 Hosur, Dec. 25 - The Coimbatore-based CRI Pumps Private Ltd will soonmanufacture and market steel valves. The company is setting up a 500-tonne dedicated steel foundry and valves manufacturing unit.
Speaking to Business Line on the sidelines of a seminarorganised by the Hosur Chapter of Madras Management Association (MMA), the company's Vice-Chairman, Mr G. Soundararajan, said the company recently started making butterfly valves as a forward integration initiative.
From the second quarter next year it will introduce ball- and check- valves manufactured at the new facility, he said.
