from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency PORT KLANG, Dec 20 (Bernama) -- The Selangor Customs thwarted attempts to smuggle in contraband worth RM6.5 million, including taxes, here on Wednesday and Thursday.

State Customs Director Datuk Roslan Yusof said in the first incident at about 12.30pm on Wednesday, enforcement officers seized a container at Westport's multi-terminal facility, containing goods declared as "frozen mixed vegetable." Upon inspection, enforcement officers found 2,000 boxes containing frozen cow bones stated as "Product of Brasil" worth RM245,280.
