MAID2CLEAN describes itself as "the trading name of a franchisee's future trading interface with the public", rather than a description of what the franchisee has to do. Established in 1993, the company now boasts 80 franchisees operating throughout the UK with others in Ireland and Canada.

A franchise costs less than 10,000 [pounds sterling], providing quality domestic cleaning and ironing services to thousands of private residential homes. These services range from one-off spring cleans to the more common regular weekly cleans.
