With the general election only a few months away, African National Congress (ANC) president Jacob Zuma called yesterday on his party and the breakaway Congress of the People (COPE) to tone down the political rhetoric and concentrate on the issues facing the electorate.

In an interview with Talk Radio 702 he pleaded for greater tolerance.
