Carolyn Malnes

Carolyn Malnes has been an independent music teacher since 1963, teaching piano, theory and composition in the state of Washington. She was an early member of the Seattle MTA and a charter member and first president of the Edmonds MTA. Active in the Washington State MTA, she has served as state president, is a member of the hall of fame and was awarded honorary lifetime membership in 2004. She has served MTNA on several national and regional committees, as president of the Northwest Division and as the Local Associations chair from 2001-2003.

Wanda Mandigo

Wanda Mandigo holds a master's of music degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has maintained a private music studio for more than 40 years, teaching piano and voice lessons, and has served as the director of music at First United Methodist Church in Waverly, Nebraska, since 1971. Mandigo has been president of the Lincoln Alumni chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon and also served as director for the North Central District. She has also served as treasurer and president of the Lincoln MTA and vice president and president of the Nebraska MTA. Currently, she is the Nebraska MTA's arts advocacy/mentoring chain
