MPs take think local campaign to commons.

The Government will today face calls to do more to support small businesses in the economic downturn as Westcountry MPs line up behind the WMN's Think Local campaign.

A Parliamentary motion backed by Devon and Cornwall MPs from all parties will be tabled in Westminster to highlight the plight of small firms.

It urges ministers to "ensure everything possible is done to help small business during the economic downturn".

North Cornwall MP Dan Rogerson has rallied the support of Liberal Democrat MPs in Devon and Cornwall while Conservative and Labour figures have also given the Think Local campaign their backing. …
