When I wrote my letter for the last edition, I had a pretty good idea that it would elicit a strong reaction from many of our readers. I feared that, without a detailed knowledge of the full "behind the scenes" story, grasping the essence of my message was going to succumb miserably to the initial emotional reaction that is typical of visceral issues such as religion and politics. I was right.
