I'm not remotely pleased with sofa.

Q: I PURCHASED a top-of-the-range sofa at a cost of GBP1,279, because it had a flexi-card and remote control which tucked into a pocket at the side.

The sales assistant advised me to take out insurance for accidental damage on the electric mechanism and it also cost me GBP59 to have it delivered.

Just before it was due to be delivered, the salesman rang to say it was a three-seater rather than the two seater.

When it eventually arrived, the delivery men said if they damaged it they would take no responsibility.

They did damage it by removing the plastic with a Stanley blade.
