BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China's economy is expected to grow by 10 pct in 2009 despite the impact of the financial crisis and the global downturn, the official Xinhua news agency reported, citing Zhang Liqun, a researcher at the State Council's Development Research Center.
Despite weak overseas demand, domestic consumption and investment will result in China's economy growing at a fast pace next year, the report said.
