BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - There are no major bubbles in China's economy at present, with the property sector under control after about a year of adjustment, central bank adviser Fan Gang said in a report carried by the official Shanghai Securities News.
Fan also called the slowdown in the economy "benign" following the implementation of macro policies in the past year or so aimed at averting overheating.
"Economic adjustments are inevitable at this stage of China's development," Fan said.
"China's economy currently has no big bubbles," he added. "If there are no big bubbles, there will be no big crisis."
