HO CHI MINH CITY, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - Motorola has deployed a WiMAX trial network for the Vietnam Datacommunications Company (VDC), the largest internet service provider (ISP) in Vietnam.
WiMAX allows more people faster access to internet connections and other advanced telecom services.
The network allows VDC, a member company of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), to test next-generation, wireless broad-band services in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The launch of the WiMAX service followed the signing of an agreement between Motorola and the VDC to do a technical and commercial ...
