AN GIANG, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - Farmers in Vietnam's southern An Giang province have signed contracts with the Angimex-Kitoku Joint Venture Company for sale of all rice on 1,300 ha grown with Japanese rice varieties in this winter-spring crop.

The Japanese rice has been grown not only in Long Xuyen town, but also in the districts of Chau Phu, Chau Thanh, Phu Tan and Thoai Son.

The company will send technicians to work with farmers during the production in order to ensure the quality ...
