The dismissal emerged today after Paulette Birtwistle was also disciplined by education watchdogs.The former teacher at Hindley All Saints CE School was up before the General Teaching Council over the incident which happened two years ago.Ms Birtwistle was found "guilty of unacceptable professional conduct" by the GTC's Professional Conduct Committee.Its decision, announced on Friday, states: "Whilst employed as a teacher at Hindley All Saints Church of England Primary School she spoke to and behaved inappropriately towards a pupil, in particular throwing their bag across the classroom."The committee issued a reprimand which will stay on her …
