At press time, Mental Health Weekly learned that the Senate on May 22 passed legislation that would enact a one-year moratorium on several proposed federal regulations to Medicaid, including proposed cuts that would reduce access to rehabilitative and case management services and school outreach support (see MHW, April 14). The House earlier this month passed legislation to delay these regulations imposed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
