In response to two Letters to the Editor (by Ken Ward and Shirley Spellerberg) in the October 13 issue of THE NEW AMERICAN, I wish to offer a suggestion to them and others on election day, which comes from Ron Paul.
He said, "A recent poll shows that 60% of the American people are not happy with the two major candidates this year." And since the "system we have today allows a president to be elected by as little as 32% of the American people, with half of those merely voting for the 'lesser of two evils,' ... as little as 16% actually vote for a president."
