Swets buys Frencken for Dutch print outlet

Netherlands-based subscription services company Swets has bought up Dutch bookseller Boekhandel E Frencken to help consolidate its position and provide it with a ready-made infrastructure to sell books in its home country.
Swets representative Anthony Hodge said the move was not part of a wider acquisitions strategy.
He told IWR: "Swets does not currently have a strategy to acquire any more booksellers or subscription agents.
"Frencken posed a unique opportunity for Swets because of its long-standing client base and extensive reputation."
