Prague, Nov 11 (CTK) - The first phase of testing of the new medicine against lymph node cancer, developed by Czech scientist Antonin Holy, has been a success as the medicine seems to have no undesirable side effects, the daily Hospodarske noviny writes today. Doctors in five haemato-oncologic clinics in the Czech Republic have for the first time tested the new efficient substance, GS-9219, on people. The testing has lasted for several weeks now. Only four to five patients have been selected for doctors to verify whether the substance can be applied to humans. The patients' consent in writing is a condition for their involvement.
