HONG KONG'S CROSBY CAPITAL TERMINATES MEDUSA TAKEOVER BID.
MELBOURNE, Nov 3 Asia Pulse - Hong Kong-based investment bank Crosby Capital Ltd has terminated its $A168 million ($US112.99 million) takeover bid for Medusa Mining Ltd (ASX:MML) after a number of bid conditions were breached amid turmoil in financial markets.
Crosby said the stock market and gold price declines since the announcement of the bid had "significantly changed the commercial circumstances" of the proposed transaction.
