PREMIER ERDOGAN: WE WILL SOLVE THE PROBLEMS ALTOGETHER
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while speaking at a ceremony in eastern province of Van, said "if you want to give support to peace, say 'lay down arms'. We are against those who walk around with weapons."
"The government will solve the problems of the cities. They will not be able to sow seeds of enmity in our brotherhood. The biggest fear of the terrorist organization is that people of the region will reach prosperity. They are against schools, hospitals and roads. Nobody will be able to hinder our march towards future as long as we preserve out unity and act as one heart," Erdogan said.
TURKISH SAILORS REPORTED TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION
Fehmi Ulgener, the lawyer of Yasa Shipping Company, which owns the hijacked Turkish ship "M/V Yasa Neslihan" said the captain of the ship phoned the company and informed them that the crew was in good condition.
Ulgener said the captain also said the pirates treated them well.
