Anatoly Chubais, recently unemployed after Unified Energy System wound up its operations Monday, will likely work on an RSPP project to draft a position on a new EU-Russia partnership agreement, his former spokeswoman said Tuesday.
Alexander Shokhin, president of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, or RSPP, said Chubais would help in drawing up the agreement as the head of an ad hoc, noncommercial partnership.
"A great task is being placed on Chubais' shoulders -- he is going to be developing a new Russia-EU partnership agreement, that will be his main activity," Shokhin said, RIA-Novosti reported. He said it had already been decided to form the partnership.
