Style always seemed like something you're either born with or not. But in his new book, How to Have Style (Gotham Books), designer Isaac Mizrahi says that personal flair just requires a little effort.
Do you really think style can be learned? I think anybody can be stylish in the way that anybody can cook. Certain people are going to be better at it, but anyone can learn if they're exposed to the right thing.
What is the first lesson you teach? Get out of your jeans coma. And dress as if you have a crush on someone. It's so much easier to put yourself together and feel good. Women with really great personal style are all very exuberant.
