The woman was returning home and had just got out of her car in a car park at Woodland Court, Wellhouse Road in the Gledhow district of Leeds at about 9pm last night. She was attacked by a man thought to have been hiding behind dustbins. "After snatching the woman's handbag the attacker pushed the victim in the face causing her to fall backwards but fortunately not sustaining any serious injury," said police. "The suspect escaped with a navy blue Marks and Spencer's handbag that contained around AGBP40 in cash along with a pair of spectacles and the remote control for the woman's hearing aids."
