Steam fair answers plea.

Steam fair operators have come to Weston-super-Mare early to give a boost to the tourism trade following the loss of the Grand Pier.

North Somerset Council's tourism team has been in talks with the Berkshire-based Carters Steam Fair since the blaze and has brought its start date forward.

Some amusements arrived on Tuesday and it is hoped to be up and running as soon as possible.
