A Bristol lawyer has been personally named by Prince Charles as an award winner for his work in fighting climate change.
Bob Smyth, who works for law firm Burges Salmon, was given the HRH Ambassador award at Monday's Business in the Community (BITC) Awards.
As well as his green work, Bob, 56, scooped the honour for his work chairing Seeing Is Believing, a BITC initiative which aims to get firms to help tackle social issues including poor housing.
Prince Charles paid tribute to Bob's work in a pre-recorded video message played during the ceremony in the Wills Memorial building at Bristol University.
In the message, Prince Charles said: "I have the greatest admiration for Bob, who has been a leader and supporter of environmental and sustainability initiatives in Bristol for over a decade.
"His work has resulted in a far greater awareness of the responsibility of the business community to take action on the environment and I am not in the least surprised that Bob has been ...
