Teaching accompanying, collaborative piano and chamber music at the college level have specific challenges for music faculty members. One Pedagogy Saturday panel, "Small Program, Big Impact," explored issues of smaller college programs, especially at the undergraduate level, and their report can be found elsewhere in this issue. The "Educating the Collaborative Major" panel thus chose to focus their discussion on graduate majors, including issues of degree requirements, auditioning for admission and assistantships and working together with others in the department/school.
