Breaking news: Man left fighting for life after assault.

A 23-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital after allegedly being assaulted in the early hours of this morning.

The assault is thought to have happened between 2.30am and 4am in Moorfield car park, in Bridlington.

An investigation has now been launched by detectives who are appealing for anyone who was in the area at this time to come forward.

It is thought the victim was walking home following a night out, when he attempted to cut through the car park.

When he realised he could not get through he headed back out the way he came, at which point he was allegedly assaulted by a number of people. …
