French broadcaster Canal Plus will launch a new version of its website in the middle of September, intended to double its number of visitors (currently 1.5 million per month) within a year. Les Echos writes that the company also hopes to boost advertising income by extending the amount of time users stay connected. The website will not just be another portal, according to Canal Plus.
