Fresno State has settled a lawsuit filed by a former men's basketball secretary who claims she was fired after complaining about sexist behavior by the coach.
Fresno State and the California State University system will pay Iris Levesque $125,000. Levesque was laid off in January 2005 for financial reasons, according to Fresno. She said she was fired after she complained of a hostile and discriminatory atmosphere in the basketball office.
