Few executives have a view like Liam Condon. When the Bayer Healthcare China managing director looks out of his 11th-floor offices in Beijing's Fortune Plaza, he gazes across the city's third ringroad upon one of the most-talked about building in the world. Condon has watched the gestation and construction of the awesome China Central TV tower, designed by Dutch superstar architect Wim Koohaas. The buildings elegance, and speed of its construction, are enough to make anyone optimistic about China.
