The National Communications Authority (NHH) in Hungary will monitor compliance of Hungarian service providers with the new EU Directive on mobile roaming tariffs, which comes into effect on 04 July. The Directive requires EU mobile service providers to provide the so-called Eurotariff to all customers. It sets a maximum rate of EUR 0.24 per minute for incoming roaming calls within the EU, and EUR 0.49 a minute for outgoing calls. Eurotariff rates will have to be reduced further ...
