The change in legislation on UE subsidies introduced by the European Commission will enable businessmen to commence their business activity after submitting the application for subsidies, without the necessity to wait for the decision. They must bear all the risk involved in the undertaking, though. According to current legislation, no actions can be taken until the authorities in power announce their decision concerning the business' eligibility for the subsidies.
