Alimony Fund will operate again, as of October 1. It will provide for the maintenance of children whose parents, obliged to the payment of alimony, fail to fulfill their obligation. The Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Jolanta Fedak, announced that the benefits from the Fund will be increased even by several hundreds of zlotys. Alimony can be instituted by the court if the monthly income per person in a family does not exceed ZL735. The highest sum of monthly payments from the Alimony Fund will be ZL500.
