Digital Anarchy has updated its ToonIt Film/Video and ToonIt Avid software tools to Version 1.1. The latest editions take advantage of multiprocessor technology to speed the rendering of cartoon-like images from film and video footage. The filters employ algorithms from Toonamation to deliver users control over details such as outlines, shading styles, and halftone effects. Artists also can customize the effects with tools such as Flat Cartoon, Graphic Novel, Line Art, and Pen Ink.
