There are rumours that the EU commissioner for competition, Neelie Kroes, is intending to issue a negative decision concerning the privatisation of Polish shipyards. Both EC official and adviser to Polish government Asger Petersen, and Treasury Minister, Aleksander Grad, who took part in a meeting with Kroes, seem to confirm this. /wyborcza.pl/
Mostostal Chojnice and Ulstein have signed an agreement concerning the privatisation of Szczecin Shipyard . It significantly adds to the attractiveness of their offer and is compatible with EU requirements with regard to the conditions for the shipyard's privatisation.
