France Telecom reported a 2.1 percent increase in first-half sales to EUR 25.913 billion, led by growth at its mobile activities. Revenues from mobile activities rose 5 percent from a year earlier to EUR 14.107 billion, with Orange adding 2.44 million new customers in the quarter for a total 102.5 million at the end of June. Fixed-line sales increased 0.4 percent to EUR 11.168 billion, led by 23 percent annual growth in ADSL customers to 10.524 million.
