NEW DELHI, Oct 1 Asia Pulse - Indian State-run power equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals (BSE:500103) today said it has bagged a Rs 9.9 billion (US$210.82 million) order to set up a 500 MW (2x250 MW) thermal power plant in Rajasthan.
The order has been placed by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (RRVUNL) for setting up two units of 250 MW each as an expansion project of the Chhabra Thermal Power Station.
"BHEL has received an order worth Rs 9.90 billion for setting up 500 MW (2x250 MW) thermal power plant in Rajasthan," a company statement said.
