The French Court of Cassation has partially quashed a EUR 534 million fine imposed in 2005 for collusion by the Competition Council on Orange, SFR and Bouygues Telecom. Les Echos writes that the highest court in the land ruled that the Paris Appeals Court did not demonstrate that exchanges of information between the mobile operators during 1997-2003 were sufficient to constitute anti-competitive practices.
