Ukraine - Alfa fails to attend Kyivstar shareholders meeting.

Alfa group subsidiary Storm did not attend a Kyivstar shareholders meeting scheduled to be held Monday 1 October at 10 am in Kyiv, Telenor said in a statement. Another shareholders meeting is scheduled for 2 pm Kyiv time. "Alfa's deliberate non-attendance is also a clear violation of the August 1 award of the arbitration tribunal, which ordered Alfa to attend Kyivstar Board and shareholders meetings," Jan Edvard Thygesen, Executive VP and head of Telenor's operations in Central and Eastern Europe, said.
