Chris Addenbrooke, chief executive of fund administration giants Capita Financial, tells Stephen Wilmot why so many managers outsource to 'CF'
Readers new to the industry may have puzzled over the "CF" that lurks in front of so many fund labels - CF 7IM Balanced, CF Arch Cru Income or CF iimia Income, and so forth. Asset managers guard their brands jealously. Why would so many different companies include the same two letters in the names of their products?
The company behind those letters, Capita Financial, keeps a low profile. Its London offices lie just north of the Tower, on the fringes of the East End. Chief executive Chris Addenbrooke quietly explains that if it were up to him, he would dispense with the CF fund label.
