Citing the high cost of malpractice insurance, Miami Dade College FL is cutting its midwifery program because not enough students paid tuition in advance.
The college had told students that due to enrollment and high costs, students had to pay all of the $7,000 course tuition up front. Only 18 of the 25 students did it, so the school suspended the program.
