After months of wrangling and rows, Sheffield Council and St Luke's issued a joint statement confirming plans to relocate to the site of the former Bluestones Infant School, Park Grange Drive, which backs on to Norfolk Park.It brings to an end one of the most controversial issues which has divided the city.St Luke's originally wanted to move on to the Norton Nurseries site at Graves Park which prompted a huge outcry .The Lib Dems were totally opposed to the idea and when they won control of the council in May, one of the first commitments they made was to veto any suggestion of it.They entered into negotiations with St Luke's to find an alternative site and The Star exclusively revealed on Tuesday the Bluestones School site was on the cards.Today Sheffield Council and St Luke's both welcomed the news.Council leader Coun ...
