"Cisplatin is a potent drug used in clinical oncology but causes spermatogenesis damage. Amifostine is a drug used against toxicity caused by ionizing irradiation and chemotherapeutic drugs," scientists in Sao Paulo, Brazil report (see also Apoptosis).
