LAS VEGAS -- To treat rosacea effectively, you've got to determine which type the patient has and be willing to consider using certain drugs off label when necessary, according to Dr. Guy F. Webster.
There are at least three rosacea phenotypes, each of which responds to a different treatment. If a patient isn't improving, "ask if you're treating the right variant," Dr. Webster said at the Fall Clinical Dermatology Conference.
