Notts Sunday THE Premier Section of the Notts Sunday League suffered the worst first day of the season in its history as only three games survived the weather.

Strangely, all three were in Division One, where George Street led the way with a 5-2 thumping of last season's Cup finalists Carlton Catholic.

Kane Matthews opened his account with a hat-trick, supported by a brace from Danny Taylor, while Anthony Gregory and Carl Wainwright responded.

Another hat-trick hero was Richard Harrison, who scored all Rolls Royce Leisure's goals in their 3-1 victory over CVR Meadows, for whom Keiron Bradshaw replied. …
